The Client Brief
Possible is a charity that enables people to take practical action on climate change. They were compiling a report on the potential energy that could be produced by tapping into the network of old rivers running underneath London.
Possible wanted a relatable short-form video, using a real-life example. After working with us on two previous projects, they knew that our films and visually cinematic style would be a great fit.
Our Filming Approach
Filming in London in 30-degree heat added a certain immediacy to the need for climate change solutions! Although London was typically busy, we deliberately packed light allowing us to move around with relative ease on the underground and on foot as we tracked the lost river to its source above ground after filming the main interview.
We created an exciting, tangible video that was shared on social channels and also used at a launch presentation.
The Results
The film was shown at the launch event with many shareholders and London businesses present. It accompanied the report which went to the Government. Showing that London’s underground rivers could become a significant source of green heat for the capital.
