How it all started—and where we are now
Founded by Ross, we began as a one-person operation capturing stories with purpose. Driven by a love for people, ideas and impact, what started behind the camera has grown into a collaborative team effort.
Today, we work closely with clients across the South West and beyond to create video content that informs, inspires and supports meaningful change. We’re still just as hands-on—but now we bring more hands, and more heart, to everything we do.

Our name—Fresh Ground Films—evokes the comfort and clarity of a freshly brewed coffee. It reflects the kind of work we do: grounded, energising, and rooted in something familiar. We’re not here to sell—we’re here to help people feel something real.
Whether we’re filming with young people in schools or staff on NHS wards, we’re guided by the same principles: sensitivity, trust, and collaboration.
